  • Where do I fly into?
This is dependent on your charter location. For our 2024 Abaco season, you will fly into Marsh Harbour International Airport (MHH). Charters in the Exuma Cays during April 2024 will fly into Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau.
  • What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes to sail in! Depending on the time of year and location of your charter, please check local weather conditions for temperature and general conditions. In general, a wind breaker and a few sun shirts go a long way! For island adventures pack shoes you can walk around in. Some people like to bring a couple nicer outfits for going out to dinner on an island. In summary, pack comfortable clothes for active sailing.
  • What if I am allergic to cats?
Although Admiral Davy Jones sheds very little, it is possible some people may still be allergic. Please let us know if you have concerns about sailing with Davy Jones.
  • What if I get seasick?
Depending on the charter experience you are interested in, most people will not encounter this problem while on SV Bella. Most charters are on protected waters where the sea state will never be too rough. We will also never put guests in situations that make them uncomfortable or feel unsafe. We put guest comfort and safety at the top of our priorities.
  • What to pack?
Minimal items are desired as there is limited storage space in your cabins. Soft luggage is necessary for your trip. NO HARD LUGGAGE PLEASE. Reference a more detailed packing list here.
  • Am I expected to tip?
Boat charters are a service provided and it is industry standard to tip between 10-20% of service costs. Although tips are not necessary, they are very appreciated and help keep SV Bella in tip top shape!
