Captain Audrey Allgood
USCG Master Captain and American Sailing Association Instructor
Captain Audrey, being a Florida native, has grown up with a deep love for the ocean and life outdoors. Audrey started her sailing journey by buying a 1979 Hunter 27 project boat while going to college at Florida State University, spending weekends and breaks from school getting on the water and working on her boat.
After Audrey completed her Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education, she worked as a middle school band director for 3 years. Her teaching background and passion for life on the water transferred into her love of being a sailing instructor. Captain Audrey has worked for multiple sailing schools learning from other great captains and instructors.
Throughout the past 10 years, Captain Audrey has run a variety of boats ranging from small sailboats to 170 foot tall ships, doing deliveries from the Caribbean Sea to the Atlantic coastline. Audrey now invites you to experience the lifestyle aboard her dream home, Bella.
Captain Garrett McQuiston
IYT Mater of Yachts 200 ton skipper and PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructor
Garrett is originally from northern Michigan where he learned how to sail on small inland lakes. He joined the club sailing team while studying at the University of Michigan and got his first taste of teaching while spending his college summers working for a sailing intensive summer camp in the BVI and Eastern Caribbean.
From there he was fully hooked and changed course to pursue a life at sea, eventually obtaining his Captain’s license and Open Water Scuba Instructor Certification. He has worked as a maritime professional all over the world from the South Pacific to Europe on boats ranging from 40 to 160 feet in length.
Garrett is exited to share the lifestyle he’s come to know and love with new friends, and he looks forward to helping them pursue their dreams at sea!
Admiral Davy Jones
Ship Security Manager, Sail Organization Master, and Acting Authority.
The true master and commander aboard S/Y Bella. Davey jones is in charge of all daily activities performed aboard his fine sailing craft... or at least thinks he is!
His many skills include napping anywhere at anytime, keeping decks clear of flying invaders, and playing fetch. He stands a near 24/7 anchor watch and greets all new crew members as they disembark the dinghy.
Fun Fact: Davy would like you to know that he is hypoallergenic and nearly never sheds!
