We offer highly customizable and tailored offshore charter packages. These charters are very weather dependent.
Offshore experiences are tailored to be a custom experience for our guests. We will work together when planning a trip to make sure it is the right fit for everyone . We put safety for our guests as our highest priority. We require everyone to have sailing experience prior to booking an offshore passage, but please feel free to talk to us if you feel differently.
A typical “Offshore Experience” charter will be a 7-day charter, where 2 or 3 days will be spent sailing offshore. We plan a week for these 2-3 day passages because when preparing for a passage, you often cannot set a departure date more than a couple days in advance. This allows us a full week to work on skills, get everyone comfortable with the vessel, go over the float plan, as well as sail around the area while waiting on the right weather window to leave. Although we do not plan on having to cancel an offshore passage, it is a possibility when planning a charter. If we have to cancel an offshore passage, your week long charter will still be full of sailing and maybe even a scenic trip down the Intracoastal Waterway.

Upcoming Offshore Passages
Abaco Bahamas to Ponce Inlet Florida - July 18th - 24th, 2025

Spend a week sailing with us through the out islands of Abaco Bahamas with your final destination in the beautiful Ponce Inlet Florida! This week will be 5 days of island hopping through the remote islands, where we practice cruising skills such as navigation and anchoring, all while exploring some of the untouched beauty of the northern out islands. This will also prepare everyone for the Gulf Stream crossing by getting familiar with the vessel, crew responsibilities, and offshore passage making.

This trip is focused on learning offshore passage making and practicing your sailing/cruising skills, but every day there will be opportunity to relax by snorkeling or exploring the islands we anchor off of.
​
This experience is perfect for sailors with prior sailing experience, but new to offshore passage making, as the offshore hop is only one day and one night at sea.
​
This passage is sold per cabin on our Fountaine Pajot Helia 44. Each cabin sleeps up to two guests, or you can have the cabin for yourself, with your own head and shower stall. This time of year is very warm in The Bahamas, in the evenings you can enjoy air conditioning in your cabin and throughout the main saloon.
